Iron Mountain Connect Roles

There are three Iron Mountain Connect roles:

Refer to the Client User Administrator (CUA), Client Content Administrator (CCA) and Iron Mountain Connect Standard User sections for information about the specific roles and responsibilities and steps involved in creating each role.

 

Iron Mountain Connect Records Management Roles

There are three Iron Mountain Connect Records Management roles. The Client User Administrator sets the user's role when creating the user profile:

Records Management Permissions & Organizational Access

CUA

·   Create/modify Iron Mountain Connect administrators and users (all roles)

No permissions/organizational access but can assign permissions/access across all applications

CUA+CCA

·   Create/modify Iron Mountain Connect users

·   Post content in Iron Mountain Connect

No permissions/organizational access but can assign permissions/access across all applications

CUA+CCA+RMA

·   Create/modify Iron Mountain Connect users

·   Posts content

·   Iron Mountain Connect Records Management administrator

All Iron Mountain Connect Records Management permissions (except destruction) and full organizational access automatically default (same as/from company)

Permissions are editable; access is not editable

CUA+CCA+Records Management Standard User

·   Create/modify Iron Mountain Connect users

·   Posts content

·   Iron Mountain Connect Records Management user

Iron Mountain Connect Records Management permissions/organizational access assigned by CUA

Permissions/access are editable

CUA+CCA+OGA

·   Create/modify Iron Mountain Connect users

·   Post content

·   Create & manage Iron Mountain Connect Records Management organization groups

Can only create/manage users within the organization group they are assigned.  Iron Mountain Connect Records Management permissions assigned by CUA; organizational access based on the organization group they are assigned to 

CUA+RMA

·   Create/modify Iron Mountain Connect users

·   Iron Mountain Connect Records Management administrator

All Iron Mountain Connect Records Management permissions (except destruction) and full organizational access automatically default (same as/from company)

Permissions are editable; access is not editable

CUA+Records Management Standard User

·   Create/modify Iron Mountain Connect users

·   Iron Mountain Connect Records Management user

Iron Mountain Connect Records Management permissions/organizational access assigned by CUA

Permissions/access are editable

CUA+OGA

·   Create/modify Iron Mountain Connect users

·   Create & manage Iron Mountain Connect Records Management organization groups

Can only create/manage users within the organization group they are assigned

Iron Mountain Connect Records Management permissions assigned by CUA; organizational access based on the organization group they are assigned to 

CCA

·   Post content in Iron Mountain Connect

No permissions/organizational access

Iron Mountain Connect Standard User

·   Cannot create users or post content but has access to other applications and roles within those applications

Varies based on application access and role

RMA

·  Iron Mountain Connect Records Management administrator can perform administrative tasks (creates box & file templates, supply lists, shipping addresses, etc) as well as user tasks

All Iron Mountain Connect Records Management permissions (except destruction) and full organizational access automatically default (same as/from company) 

Permissions are editable; access is not editable

Records Management Standard User

·  Iron Mountain Connect Records Management user (places orders and enters inventory)

Iron Mountain Connect Records Management permissions/organizational access assigned by CUA 

Permissions/access are editable

OGA

·  Create and manage Iron Mountain Connect Records Management organization groups

Must also be a CUA. Can only create/manage users within the organization group they are assigned

Iron Mountain Connect Records Management permissions are assigned by the CUA; organizational access is based on the organization group the user is assigned to 

 

User Profiles

Every Iron Mountain Connect Records Management user is required to have a user profile to log in and begin using the application.  Client User Administrators create user profiles.  Each Records Management user profile includes:
